How to Install WordPress on Hostinger (Step-by-Step)

Step-by-step

Follow the six steps above from your hPanel dashboard. The only step that can trip people up is pointing the domain, so here's the detail:

1. In hPanel, open Websites → your site → Domains.
2. Choose Add Domain, type your domain, and hit confirm.
3. At your registrar (wherever you bought the domain), change the nameservers to Hostinger's:
   • ns1.dns-parking.com
   • ns2.dns-parking.com
4. DNS propagates within 24 hours (usually 1-4 hours). hPanel's Domain Checker shows live status.

Verify HTTPS

After propagation, confirm the padlock in your browser. If HTTPS isn't active:

1. Open hPanel → Security → SSL.
2. Click Install next to your domain (Let's Encrypt, free).
3. Toggle Force HTTPS so all traffic upgrades automatically.
